Throughout the study of Liu Cixin's The Three-Body Problem, students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, text-to-speech software for reading assignments, or any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

In this lesson plan, students will be given several opportunities to use modern technology to engage with the story and its themes.

In the Day 1 activities "The Middle Kingdom, On the Map" and "Scavenger Hunt: China," students will use online research to learn about the setting of the novel, as well as about the history and society of modern China in general.
