    Objective:

    Students will focus on one theme from the book and create a soundtrack that represents the theme.

    Common Core Standards:

    CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.11-12.2, CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.11-12.4, CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.11-12.6

    Structure:

    To begin this activity, students will choose two major themes from the text (such as remorse, suicide, the fallibility of memory, reticence, our individual relationships with time, responsibility, etc).
