To understand the importance of mythology today in relation to its importance in the ancient world

Structure:

Separate the students into small groups. Each group should come up with a modern myth that they view as important to their own culture or to life in general. Task them with summarizing the myth and analyzing its cultural importance in preparation for a class presentation.
