    Students will write three journal entries from three different characters' viewpoints.

    Structure:

    Throughout our first two days of studying The Fellowship of the Ring, we have met a number of different characters from distinct races and cultures, providing a unique perspective from each. Gandalf is a powerful, god-like being; we've met groups of elves; Tom Bombadil is a peculiar otherworldly figure; and, of course, the hobbits.
