Day One: "Understanding Colonialism" will require the internet and computer access to conduct research in groups as well as to prepare a presentation on a collaborative platform for the following day. For the second activity, internet access and a projector may also be necessary depending on how the teacher chooses to present Vonnegut's "Story Shapes."

Day Two: Students will use technology to create and present a multimedia presentation to the class. They may also need internet access to create their timelines. For "Mary's Diary," the students will need computer access, as well as potential access to a program such as Adobe.
