The comparing of two entities with obvious contrasting elements for the purpose of emphasizing the point of the comparison.

sublime

Possessing a quality which stimulates a sense of awe or recognition of perfection.

crystallized

The process of a liquid transforming into crystal form

inscrutable

Impossible to fully understand or comprehend.

giddiness

An extreme state of happiness almost bordering on the irrational.

retributionary

An outdated or archaic form of the modern term “retributory” which refers broadly the process of seeking vengeance.

imbroglio

A situation which has become strangely complicated; a hullaballoo or kerfuffle.

ubiquitous

Seeming to be everywhere at once; conveying a sense of omnipresence.

Displaying an overzealous sense of authority such as that manifested by ancient emperors.

Exhibiting the symptoms of sickness like water eyes and phlegmy congestion.

To have been beaten up severely.

A container in which metals can be safely melted at extreme temperatures.

The location at which two things intersection and join together.

vestibule

A small lobby-like room such as a foyer.

fixative

Any substance which provides a coating for the purpose of preservation or protection.
