The stacked collection of wood which has been chopped for kindling.

wondrous

Capable of inspiring awe or astonishment.

throttle

To strangle.

wailed

Having cried out in a disconsolate and sorrowful manner.

eradication

The complete and total extermination of a certain entity.

audacity

A recklessly overconfident display of bravado.

mongrel

Of mixed heritage; a mutt.

heathen

A pagan or anyone who otherwise does not commit to worshiping Christianity.

paddock

A grassland or field for pasturing

brazen

Brash and insolent.

rampage

A brief burst of violent behavior.

chock

To fill up an empty space for the purpose of making it fit.

coin

A slang term for money of any of sort, including paper bills.

shanty

A very crudely constructed hut.

wallowing

Engaging in acts of self-pitying self-interest.
