Students will utilize technology and research in a multimedia presentation of the novel's setting and events and historical context

Structure:

This two-day activity will help the students to better understand the broader historical context of the novel, using a range of media and technological tools. The students will be assigned topics that relate to the events in this novel and prepare a short presentation which they will then present to the class so that all students will have the context to better understand the novel.
