The Ambassadors Lesson Plan

Bringing in Technology

Throughout the study of Henry James's The Ambassadors, students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, text-to-speech software for reading assignments, and any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

In this lesson plan, various opportunities for using technology in classroom activities are presented. In the Day 2 activity "Paris, City of Lights," students will be able to use Google Maps and Google Earth to get acquainted with the city that Strether becomes so enchanted with. On the same day, students will be able to use Prezi to create presentations about various landmarks of interest within the city.
