In order to draw a lewis dot structure, first find out the number of valence electrons for each atom. Next, using bonds, keep adding bonds until the number of valence electrons for each atom is 8. Note, in the attached diagram, there are different colors showing polarity, but this is not necessary in lewis dot structures.
