Ketones undergo addition reactions with hydrogen cyanide. Due to high polarity, the $C=O$ bond is broken and a less polar hydrogen atom from $H-CN$ gets bonded to the oxygen atom. Also, $CN$ gets bonded to the carbon atom which had the carbonyl group. This $CN$ has a triple bond.
