Out of the three main types of radiation, gamma radiation is the most penetrating. Unlike Gamma radiation, Alpha radiation can be stopped by a plain sheet of paper or skin. Even though Beta radiation is a little bit more tough, it is still not as penetrating as the Gamma radiation.
