Answer

Candida Auris

Work Step by Step

Candida Auris is an example of an emerging disease. There are many reasons why diseases continue to be discovered. Three include: 1. There are many different diseases out there, and until these diseases pose a threat to human and animal life, they are often not investigated. 2. Diseases can mutate and thus adapt to certain environments. Thus, it follows that since these diseases may not have existed before, they could not be discovered until now. 3. New technology allows for new diseases to be discovered that were once impossible to discover.
