Answer
The ability of a flower depends on its structure no matter whether it is pollinated by wind, insects, or anything else. Without the particular structure of a given flower, it cannot interact with whatever affects its pollination. This depends not just on stamen or pistil but on other parts as well, and without any one of these parts the system begins to fall apart. This is evidence that the ability of the flower emerges from its having its various parts properly arranged, making this an emergent property.
Work Step by Step
Review earlier material, especially Ch. 1, on emergent properties. See that emergent properties come when different parts come together to give something which none has on its own.
