Answer
Stanley Miller tested the Oparin-Haldane hypothesis. Originally, Oparin and Haldane claimed that the Earth's early atmosphere was a reducing (electron-adding) environment, in which organic compounds could have formed from simpler molecules. Miller and his partner, Harold Urey conducted the experiment that yielded fewer amino acids due to a difference in condition, compared to the simulated eruption, which contradicted the Oparin-Haldane's investigation.
