Answer

Within just the human anatomy, people must be aware of the many differences there are from body to body. For example, most of us have a palmaris longus muscle in the forearm and a plantaris muscle in the leg. In some people, these muscles may not be present due to a genetic predisposition or other factors. Similarly, the majority of people have a liver that produces insulin but many people have developed a condition against the adequate supply of insulin, known as Diabetes. These differences are complex and vary vastly from person to person, arising from past medical issues or simply being born that way. One must be careful and take these into consideration when treating a patient in order to correctly approach their specific needs.

Work Step by Step

Dealing with patients every day, I see these varying degrees of conditions and emphasize the need to address each one with a different approach based on the anatomy of the specific person you are handling.
