A study is carried out to determine if the presence of nymphs of Brachytron pretense has any effect on mosquito larvae. It is observed that in the presence of nymphs of Brachytron pretense, the mean population of mosquito larvae changed from 7.34 to 0.83 larvae per dip; later, the larvae increased to 6.83 larvae per dip after the nymphs were removed. In the control tanks, the mean mosquito larvae per dip measurements were 7.12, 6.83 and 6.79.
