Among the graphs, only graph $B$ is such that $y\to \infty$ when $x\to -\infty$ and $x\to \infty$. For other cases $y\to \infty$ and $y\to -\infty$ as well. So, only for graph $B$, range is not $(-\infty,\infty)$.
