To graph the given function, perform the following steps: (1) Create a table of values by assigning values to $x$ then solving for te corresponding value of $y$ for each $|x|$. (Refer to the table below). (2) Plot each ordered pair then connect the points using a line. Note that the graph should be V-shaped with its vertex at $(0, 1)$. (Refer to the graph above.)
