The graph is drawn this way because the disk is travelling vertically up when it is thrown and is gradually going up. In the graph, the disk has an initial height because it is thrown upwards by a person and so has some height. Then when the disk hits a tree branch, it falls on the roof which shows that the disk travelled vertically down after hitting the branch. Then there is a horizontal line in the graph because the disk is stagnant for a minute and thus there is no change in the height. Finally, the disk travels down as the wind pushes it downward into the ground and the height is 0m as the disk hits the ground.
