This sample may be biased since people who tend to like certain sports may read the website more than people who like other sports. In my opinion, these results are not reliable. First, there is a potential bias in the survey, as explained above. Second, this question may give an idea of the most popular sports among the five sports listed, but it does not really give an impression of what sports are the most popular, for many sports are left out. Since the survey finds that 50 percent of people prefer either tennis or golf, I would question the validity of the survey as most other surveys suggest that basketball and baseball are the most popular on the list.
