Swami and Friends Lesson Plan

Bringing in Technology

Throughout the study of Swami and Friends, students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, and text-to-speech software for reading assignments, or any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

Teachers should create a shared classroom folder and assign each student a folder under their name. Students should save any digitally done work to their classroom folder for assessment.

Day One: The first activity requires access to the internet, potentially along with a projector. For their caste system research, students will need computer and internet access.
