Six Characters in Search of an Author Lesson Plan

Bringing in Technology

Throughout the study of Six Characters in Search of an Author, students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, text-to-speech software for reading assignments, or any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

Students may record short videos of themselves portraying their character of choice, record a podcast in character, or even create a social media account representing their character, in the Day 1 Classroom Activity, "Getting Into Character."
