Sandra Day O’Connor

Sandra Day O’Connor was the first female Justice of the Supreme Courts of the United States. She was involved in the rulings of landmark cases such as Grutter v. Bollinger (2003) and Hamdi v. Rumsfeld (2004) and was a significant source of inspiration to Ginsburg as she delved into the legal sector.

Ruth Ginsburg

Ginsburg is a women’s right’s activist and the second female Justice at the Supreme Courts of the United States. She is one of the most notable figures in the US socio-political scene, having been successful in prominent cases such as, Moritz v. Commissioner (1972) , Frontiero v. Richardson (1973), Weinberger v. Wiesenfeld (1975) and United States v. Virginia (1996) being one of the more prominent cases.

Linda Hirshman

Hirshman is an American lawyer, as well as the author and narrator of the biography. She was involved in prominent legal cases in the US, with a landmark case being Garcia v. San Antonio Metropolitan Transit Authority (1985).
