    Four Narrators: Part I

    Studetns will be able to analyze the perspectives and voices of the characters in the novel

    Common Core Standards:

    CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.6.3, CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.6.6

    Structure:

    Do each of the narrators of Salt to the Sea have distinct voices?

    Individually, students should pick a character from the novel. For their character, students should answer the following questions. Each answer should include a few sentences of analysis and at least one direct quote from the text (multiple quotes are welcome!).

    - Who is your character? What do they do and where have they lived?
