Joe Biden's Promise Me, Dad: A Year of Hope, Hardship, and Promise is a book about Joe Biden's son. The first thanksgiving the Biden family knew that a family member (Joe's Son) had been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. The whole family was unsure if he would live or not. The son sadly died and Joe the vice president at the time was not there to support him.

After the son's death, he had to decide if he should run for the president or not. He untimely decided not to and him and his family were still heartbroken with the death of the son. He started as a lawyer in Delaware that was his first job.

Biden started as a lawyer and then worked his way into politics. He started in the senate and slowly worked his way up all the way up to vice president. Barack Obama awarded him the medal of Presidential Medal of Freedom; he also was endorsed by Obama is the 2020 presidency. Since Biden started to run for presidency, he has been widespread liked and was chose to run for the 2020 presidency.

The book Promise Me, Dad: A Year of Hope, Hardship, and Promise was dedicated to Joe Biden's son who died to a mysterious brain cancer. Biden had a very rough life with his wife and author both dying in a car cash. It was a drunk driver who killed them.
