Persuasion - The Film

Objective:

Students will evaluate a film interpretation of the novel.

Structure:

Acquire a copy of Persuasion (1995, BBC), directed by Roger Michell. The film is available to stream (Link here: Persuasion), or to purchase on iTunes or Amazon.

**Note: the film is 104 minutes, so to watch the entire film the activity will have to be spread out over several days.

Have students watch the film. After watching it, start students off on a discussion using the following questions as a starting point:
