Kristallnacht

A night in which Nazi Germans ostracized and injured Jewish people, prosecuting them because of their religion.

Fission

When the nucleus of an atom splits into two, creating a tremendous amount of energy.

Trinity

The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Isotope

Atoms with a different number of neutrons, but the same number of protons. Often chemically similar.

Repudiate

Reject, renounce.

Dogma

A set of teachings or beliefs.

Compartmentalization

Dividing things into siloed, unique categories.

Reductive

Explaining complex things in simple terms.

Diffusion

Spreading something (typically an idea) widely.

Oscilloscope

A complex device used to view voltages.

Fissile Material

Material, like Uranium and Plutonium, that can be used to make a nuclear weapon.
