Artistic Response
Objective:
Students will create an artistic response to their favorite passage
Common Core Standards:
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RL.11-12.4
Structure:
Vuong uses vivid imagery throughout the novel to transport his readers into the story so effectively it feels as if it were their own. In this activity, students will analyze the imagery Vuong uses to depict life and relationships and create an artistic representation of the lines in the text that stuck out to them the most.
