Nine Stories Lesson Plan

Bringing in Technology

Throughout the study of Nine Stories, students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, and text-to-speech software for reading assignments, or any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

In the Day 1 activity, "Discussion: Suicide and Depression," students use the internet to research the Suicide Prevention Resource Center.

In the Day 2 activity, "Franklin's Twitter," students use Twitter write from Franklin's point of view.

In the Day 3 activity, "Presentation: War, PTSD, and Salinger," students use PowerPoint to make a presentation.
