Ruby
Ruby is the main protagonist. She is an Orange PSI that is able to control minds of others. Ruby is part of the Children's League now and there she was trained to control her powers and to be an efficient agent. Ruby has an ongoing inner battle of accepting who she is and afraid of what she can do and where her powers could take her.
Cole
Cole is Liam's older brother, and strongly resembles Liam himself. He is a Children's League agent. Ruby also discovers that he is a Red PSI who can control fire but promises to keep it a secret because Reds are considered dangerous and irrational and it could endanger Cole if his truth was discovered.
Vida
Vida is Ruby's teammate in the Children's League. She and Ruby don't get along at first but later become really good friends. Vida is a character with a short fuse and it takes little to provoke her but her heart seems to be in a right place. Vida is a Blue PSI which means she can move objects telepathically. She has a strong bond with Cate and is very protective of her.
Jude
Jude is a Yellow PSI with the ability to control electricity. He is a part of Ruby's team in the Children's League. He is sort of a clumsy kid that often gets in the way but his lovable and friendly character makes up for it. His character is not to be confused with his powers as he is very strong and often times a key to get out of dangerous situations. He makes Ruby feel very protective of him.
Alban
Alban is the leader of the Children's League. Ruby realizes that his heart must have been in the right place when he first started this organization but he soon became corrupted and only a tool for the malicious agents that surround him.
Chubs
Chubs is Ruby's friend from the previous book, whom she thought was dead. Chubs is undercover now as a skip tracer that hunts PSI's for bounty. Even though this brought some changes to his character he is still the same Chubs Ruby knows and loves.
Liam
Liam is Ruby's love interest who she made forget all about her in the previous book. When they meet again Liam is in the state of confusion as he feels strong emotions for Ruby but doesn't know why. Eventually Ruby brings him his memories back accidentally and even though he is angry at what she's done he still loves her same.
Rob
Rob is a Children's League agent whose main goal is to get rid of the PSI youth. He feels strong hatred for them and thinks that everything would change for the better if they disappeared.
Knox
Knox is a Blue PSI who poses as Slip Kid and is a leader of the malicious Blue clan. His maliciousness resulted in members of his clan being miserable and he feels strong hatred for PSI's of other colors.
Clancy
Clancy is President Grey's son and a manipulative Orange PSI who relishes in his power of controlling others to get whatever he wants.
