What is Delly's role in these chapters?
Delly seems to represent the goodness of community. She feels connected to Peeta, but she also has a larger sense of what is right and calls him out on his cruelty to Katniss. She shared a childhood with Katniss and Peeta, and thus her presence seems to keep them connected to who they are at heart, two people from District 12 who grew up under trying circumstances and, unlike Delly, endured the horrific obstacle of the Hunger Games, but still feel called back to and loyal to their pasts.
