What is significant about Lucio unveiling the Duke's disguise?
Lucio unveiling the Duke's disguise seemed necessary, given Lucio's loud-mouthed carrying on about the Duke to the Duke while he was disguised as the friar. It is also significant because Lucio, like Angelo, has existed throughout the play as a hypocritical character in need of his own unveiling. It is ironic, therefore, that he ends up revealing the "true" identity of another character, when his own true nature will soon be revealed by the Duke.
