Students will analyze the dramatic elements from Acts I & II, and interpret the scene in relation to the play's events, as well as the themes and symbols thus far.

Prior to class, select 5-7 segments from any of the scenes read so far in Acts I & II of Long Day's Journey Into Night that are particularly relevant for introducing and understanding themes in the play.
