Killing Mr. Griffin Irony

The Killing of Mr. Griffin

Susan

Susan is a generally nice, studious, and law-abiding student, yet agrees to kidnap Mr. Griffin and perpetrates an unkind and illegal crime.

Susan's Savior

Susan is saved by the person who hates her the most.

Jeff's Father

Jeff's father remarks “All you have to do is open up the paper or pick up the magazine and you see a bunch of messed-up kids in trouble. It makes you wonder where all the parents are while that’s going on.” Little does he know that his child is messed-up and in serious trouble.

Mr. Griffin's Remarks

Mr. Griffin tells Sue that he is happy that she is a junior so that he will have another year to help her develop as a writer. Sue is one of the people responsible for killing Mr. Griffin, ensuring that he won't have another year with her to help her develop as a writer.
