What is the poem ‘Psalm’ about?
Winter used this poem as a way of showing people that God is with us throughout even the menial parts of our lives. He goes on to describe that simple activities, such as sleeping or taking out the rubbish are almost like acts of prayer. The whole concept is that, there is no one correct way to do prayer - it is entirely up to the individual.

Many readers may be able to relate to the Speaker’s envy of Bob, and he is described as being the ideal man. He is educated, accomplished, handsome and attractive. This seems to play on many of the insecurities men and boys in this day and age face when compared to similar figures like Bob.
