Structure:

Hidden Figures is a 2016 drama adapted by Allison Schroeder and Theodore Melfi based on the book students have been reading. The movie is directed by Melfi and stars Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, and Janelle Monáe. It is rated PG for thematic elements and some language. The students will compare the film to the original book and explore how the differences between the two affect the storyline.
