Martyr

a person who is persecuted for his or hers religious beliefs and in the end is killed because of them

Rueful smile

a smile expressing sorrow or regret

Heathen

a person who in the past did not belonged to the Christian faith and instead still maintained the old ways and old religions

Sepulture

a hidden room under a church

Mason

a person who has a talent for building

Apprentice

a term referring generally to a young boy working under a master in order to learn a trade

Tramp

a person who travels from one place to another in search of work; can also refers to homeless people who rely on begging to survive

Derelict

not in good shape

Archeologist

a person who studies the human history by looking at human remains and other vestiges from the past

Pathologist

someone who examined the dead body of a person in order to determine the cause of death and the circumstanced leading to their death
