Whose company does Gulliver prefer—the Yahoos or the Houyhnhnms? Why?

Gulliver prefers to associate with the Houynhnms, who, despite being horses, are rational, civil, and bear much more resemblance to humans in their social behaviors, language, and personal grooming practices than the Yahoos. While the Yahoos are clearly a human-like species, they are easily mistaken for animals and have no civilized society as far as Gulliver can tell. Their animalistic nature is particularly disturbing because of their apparent similarities to humans.
