He has a business of gambling, has a casino, and dumps sewage illegally in the water. It is an irony that he wants to remain ignorant about the conservation of the environment. He wants to make money at the cost of environmental degradation.
Misunderstanding
Paine Underwood is a kind-hearted personality about his family, city, and country. He is focused and has a vision for the well-being of all. But, it is an irony that this trait of his personality is misunderstood by his wife, Donna Underwood. She considers him obsessive and impulsive. She got frustrated by the price paid by her family and relationship for the uncompromising attitude of Paine.
