Bringing in Technology

In the “Pop Culture Wiktionary” lesson on Day 1, students will need access to the internet to conduct research and populate the entries on their collaboratively produced wiki page. They may also choose to use a computer or tablet to take notes during the “College Hopes and Fears” discussion.

On Day 2, Internet access and word processing are helpful in the “Manipulating Worlds” lesson.

In the second part of the Collaborative Fiction lesson on Day 3, students have the option to write using a word processing program or a collaborative writing/document sharing program like GoogleDocs.
