Dutch: A Memoir of Ronald Reagan Characters

Dutch: A Memoir of Ronald Reagan Character List

Edmund Morris

Edmund Morris is the main perpetrator of the "biography", detailing the events of his life with the President of the United States. For more than one reason, Morris is the main character of the book, not Ronald Reagan, because the book focuses mostly on his personal life knowing the president. Morris is often criticized in real life for adding fictional characters into this biography.

Ronald "Dutch" Reagan

You may be wondering why "Dutch" is in the title, and you are not alone. Factually, Dutch was Ronald Reagan's football name when he was younger, and the nickname has stuck with him throughout the presidency. Because this book has Dutch in the title, many readers are expecting the book to be about football. However, the book does not follow that path, and instead explains how Morris knew Ronald Reagan. According to Morris, he was a friendly and kind person with a vibrant personality. Although he does make references to how he grew up in the same area as Ronald Reagan, Morris does not really mention much else about the president.
