The classroom activities represent several opportunities to use technology to drive students toward better understanding of the themes of the text.

In Day 1, students are asked to research people making a positive difference in the world against long odds. This will help them to understand better why the notion of "tilting at windmills" still resonates so strongly for people. This activity allows them to see that some people, even without the mental illnesses attributed to Don Quixote, can take on very difficult tasks and stand for righteousness even though their chances of success appear slight.
