Divine Comedy: Purgatorio Lesson Plan

Throughout the study of Dante's Purgatorio, students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, text-to-speech software for reading assignments, or any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

In this lesson plan, students will be given several opportunities to use modern technology to engage with Purgatorio. In the Day 1 activity "Going to Hell (or Elsewhere) in a Bento Box," they will be asked to present what they think they know or believe about the afterlife to their peers while using Google Slides in an innovative way.
