Masahiro Motoki
Motoki began in the entertainment industry as a member of a Japanese boy band. Once the band broke up he began to act and his first role was in a film entitled Fancy Dance. He continued his career in acting and become noticed internationally for his performances, most notable for his role in Departures which won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Motoki has appeared in over 40 films and television shows during his career which began in 1982.
Tsutomu Yamazaki
Yamazaki made his film debut in autuer director Akira Kurosawa's High and Low. He has appeared in over 100 roles in film and television during his 50 plus year career. Some of his most notable films include Red Beard, Kagemusha, Tampopo, Departures and Rame Girl.
Ryôko Hirosue
Hirosue has made over 70 appearances in films and television during her career that began in 1995. She is most well known for her roles in Wasabi and Departures. She got her start in acting when she joined the P&G cosmetic model competition. A year later she had her first television role that started her career.
