The mail room
In an instance where the issue of the child pornography magazines were confiscated from Arnold Friedman's postal code, there is an image of a mail room with mail being sorted by machines. The image of the mail room creates imagery of how the mail that had the magazine was lifted from other letters.
The mug shots
The mug shots of Arnold and Jesse reveal the pain, suffering anguish and fear that they and their family went through. They are a visual imagery of the entire scandal and its weight to the family, the victims, and the entirety of society.
The house
In the film, the house where the Friedmans lived is shown on many occasions. The house is brown, big, and numbered seventeen. It is an imagery of the lives that the Friedmans lived before the arrest and arraignment of Jesse and Arnold Friedman.
