Why do you think Kadare chooses to change perspectives in this chapter?
In the third chapter, Broken April switches perspectives away from the local villager Gjorg, and to the travelling tourists Bessian and Diana. However, the principal subject matter of the book – blood feuds and the Kanun – stays the same. Changing perspectives from one character to another merely allows readers to explore this subject from another angle.
