The Information Outlook in 'Born a Crime' 11th Grade

Information is one of the most essential things in the world, but when people lack it, their perspective on the world negatively changes. This leads to negative outcomes and ends with hurt and the creation of stereotypes. All around the world, people think they know more about a topic than they do and think they are better or more equipped to deal with a topic than they are. People who are ignorant about a topic, person, or personal identity think they know what they are talking about even though they do not know how to talk about it, leading to them offending people. Trevor Noah's Born a Crime demonstrates how lacking information can lead to a negative outlook on how a person sees the world.

As Noah demonstrates in his memoir, a lack of education on different topics and cultures can lead to offence or confusion. Education on specific issues is quite different in South Africa than elsewhere. They were trying to tell the students what happened without making them care, which leads to ignorance of the topic or person.
