Overall, sociology is the study of the causes and consequences of human behavior in the world around us. Sociology can be related to anything and everything around us. For example, if you think about how you may do something and another person across the world may do that same thing it could be very different. Well, discussing why that is and how it impacts us as humans is sociology at its finest. This example also displays understandings of our sociological imagination and how our personal experiences can be linked to our society and other wider societies. This leads us the idea of influence and how our society, as well as other societies, can influence us personally through different forms. One way we are personally moved by our society is through the entertainment industries’ entertainers, music and movies.
