Immorality and the church
Eileen knows that Simon is sexually attached to Caroline, but she initiates sex with him. Eileen seduces Simon after realizing that her ex has moved on with a new woman. After sleeping with Simon and having sex for the entire night, Eileen joins him in the morning, and they attend Mass together. The paradox in this scenario is that Simon and Eileen know that they had sex outside wedlock, but they are the first to attend the church in the morning.
The satire of ghosting
After having good times in Rome, Felix and Alice return home, and Alice is buoyant that their relationship will blossom. Satirically, a few days later, Felix starts ghosting Alice. After realizing that Felix is going silent without any warning, she confronts him to demand answers. Felix reveals that he does not want to commit himself to her. Alice accepts but asks him not to ghost her again.
